A ransom has been issued to Capcom for $11 million in bitcoin and the company is struggling to discover what was taken. Capcom released an official statement soon after the hack, confirming it was looking into what had been stolen. Unfortunately, the attempt was successful, and a lot of data was stolen. Last week, the hacker group Ragnar Locker attempted to compromise Capcom's data with ransomware. On top of COVID-19 delaying Monster Hunter Rise, the company was also the target of a major hack. Capcom went from on top of the world to a rough patch very recently.
